The larger of the two trays we offer, providing increased storage capacity and sitting slightly lower on the tripod legs due to its size.

It’s available either as a fully assembled tray, ready to clip straight on, or as a DIY kit with the 3 pairs of connector blocks and all the necessary stainless fixings.

The tray itself is the same type used in the older Ian Golds tripod trays, so if you’ve already got one lying around, it’s easily converted — just drill six 5 mm holes to mount the kit.

These trays are also readily available from B&Q, Amazon and garden centres, making them a practical option for self-builds with the DIY kit.

The external size measures approximately 52 cm x 42 cm x 10 cm, offering plenty of space for bait, leads, and tools. Optional divider trays are available for those who want to keep things organised.

Installation is quick and straightforward. The female connectors simply slide onto the legs and are locked in position via either the latch or thumbscrew. The tray then simply clicks into place via the male plugs attached to the tray, they’ll lock securely until you press the release latch on the female connector attached to the tripod legs.

Because the tray is mounted with lockable connectors rather than the traditional bungees, the whole tray locks into place and doubles as a leg lock — allowing the entire tripod to be lifted and repositioned easily, great when navigating tidal areas or low water marks.

Please ensure you select the correct tripod model from the dropdown menu, as sizes vary between brands.

The tray mounted fixings are compatible with all of the tripod models. For example if you have a large tray on a sealegs tripod and a medium tray on a golds, you can mount either tray on either tripod if you wish.

NB - Please note insert divider tray colours may vary between either white or grey and are subject to change.

All fixing components are designed, developed, and manufactured here in the UK.

Note: No lid option is currently available for this tray.
