The bungee latch system adds extra peace of mind protecting valuable gear against hard hitting fish such as bass, smoothounds and tope and can be released with one finger in under a second.
Functions brilliantly at protecting rods from bouncing out of the holder onto the deck or over the side in rough weather while under power and will keep your expensive reels well inside the boat away from corrosive salt spray unlike rocket launcher style holders.
Designed for rods up to 14mm in diameter at the point it sits in the rest. Fits almost all modern boat rods to around 30lb class and any jigging or spin gear. May not fit some thicker uptiders and modern continental long rods.
Designed for right handed use with the locking/release tab to the right however it is easily mounted in reverse on the rail to provide the same functionality the other way around.
Compared to the V shaped rests on the market these are less bulky, more durable, hold the rod more securely and are easily spun below the rail when not needed.
Made from a UV, water and chemical resistant flexible polyurethane. Marine grade rubber shock cord.
